Resources Ii

As I always mention, you have three main resources:

  1. time
  2. energy
  3. money

The abundance and availability of these resources vary during different days, weeks, months, and years.

Let’s start with time. It is possible that you might have so much free time during some periods that you would begin to get bored. However, during other periods, you struggle to find time to reply to a greeting from a close friend. What shall we do about it? When we have some free time, we need to “invest” it properly in alignment with our priorities. Priorities can range from enjoying proper relaxing time to working on a project.

Energy is a more mysterious resource. Although a healthy individual would expect to enjoy days full of energy most of the year, there are days when one would feel lethargic, tired, or simply sick. When one is sick, it is a clear message to get the necessary rest to help the body recover. But on days we are feeling good, it is imperative that one channels his/her energy in alignment with his/her priorities.

Finally, there is money. Unfortunately, this resource is not always available or in abundance. It depends on plenty of factors. However, if we try to think of an average person, money was likely available to different degrees during the various stages of his/her life. For instance, you might be working hard to pay your tuition fees or fund your new project. Alternatively, you might be reaping the results of all those late nights you have worked and started to enjoy some extra money. To be wise, we should not expect challenging periods to last forever; moreover, we should think positively and know that better days are always coming. However, when these lucrative days finally arrive, we should invest some of our earnings carefully.
